1. Can you put iPods, n95 masks, other items in the cabinet? - The UV cabinet can be used to sanitize other solid, non-porous objects such as an iPod. We just recommend powering off any electrical devices before placing them in the cabinet. We cannot confirm the effectiveness of the cabinet on porous or woven items such as N95 masks at this time, but we are in the process of testing to determine this.

2. Can these be used to sanitize tablets such as ipads, or iphones? – Yes, but we recommend powering them off before placing in the cabinet.

3. How hot do they get? – The maximum temperature we have observed in the cabinets during a 15 minute cycle is 82°F.

4. Does it produce ultraviolet germicidal radiation? – Yes, it emit UV-C germicidal radiation at a wavelength of 254 nm.

5. Can I stack clear plastic and have them be sanitized? -No, Most plastics do not allow UV-C radiation to penetrate though to surfaces behind, so for this application the sheets will needs to separated so that all surfaces are directly exposed to the light.
